Graduation "Cap" Cakes
Grade schoolers (and even adult chocolate lovers) will love these graduation
cupcakes that are frosted in their school colors. Quick and easy...
1. Follow the directions for making cupcakes using the commercial cake mix. When done, turn each cupcake upside down on a cookie sheet.
2. Add food coloring to the frosting, which is then spread on the cupcake sides and top. For the 'cap', frost the graham cracker and stick on top of the cupcake.
3. Tie licorice strings into tassels and use frosting to attach to the middle of the caps. For a more 'life-like' look, you may also use a colored M&M candy to further secure the tassel.
