Top Ten Scrapbooking Tips
Scrapbooking
your priceless family moments helps bring the event to life. Here
are some simple tips to help you get started:
1.
Use only acid-free, lignin-free tape and paper. Products with
a high acid content can, over time, damage photos or cause them
to yellow.
2.
A digital camera is an essential scrapbooking tool because it
allows you to capture all your family's precious moments easily
and creatively.
3.
To blow-up photos use a camera with a high resolution, like Fujifilm's
A340.
4.
Using your computer and a digital photo editing program customize
the photos as appropriate, take out elements, erase red-eye or
crop the photo.
5.
Print the photos for your scrapbook layouts at a trusted photo
retailer. Black's Digital Print Cards make the ideal gift for
the first-time scrapbooker.
6.
Keep fun momentos of your summer vacation and display them with
the photos. For example, display photos of your favourite summer
concert with the concert ticket stub.
7.
Never use regular sticky tape or glue on your albums because you
may want to move the photos. Sticky photo tabs can be purchased
at scrapbooking or stationary stores.
8.
"Journal" your photos with important dates, names and places.
Add little stories to your album about a special trip or event.
9.
Use "left over" pictures from your albums to make a collage at
the end of your scrapbook.
10.
And most importantly, HAVE FUN!
