The Adobe Grand Villas of Sedona, Arizona reports that they have arranged some of the most unique marriage proposals including one in which innkeepers spread photographs of the couple from childhood to present in their Silver Spur room, sprinkled rose petals throughout the suite and lit it entirely by candlelight. The couple was then served a five-course dinner featuring a flourless chocolate cake garnished with whipped cream and topped with a 2-karat diamond ring.

"I was looking for a unique way to propose and found the Inn at Bowman’s Hill," said 26-year-old Ryan Zidek. "Mike Amery (the innkeeper) helped me shape the evening and made sure everything was taken care of …candles, roses, our champagne and a conservatory with a waterfall and exotic flowers all to ourselves. It was phenomenal."
Each of the 2006 Top 10 Romantic Inns cater to their guests’ individual needs. The Brampton Inn of Chestertown, Maryland has created a private proposal room in the Belvedere at the top of the inn.
