The Chiff.com Directory was started by a group of freelance writers and web designers who wanted easy access to sites that were user-friendly and free of intrusive ads. Through the years the project has grown.

Today, Chiff.com is an online resource where people come to find answers they can trust. The directory features hand-picked top sites in hundreds of topic areas.

Now we're looking for a few talented freelance writers to join the Chiff.com editorial team.

Your Audience

Close to 2 million people a month come to the site to find answers, and about half of our visitors bookmark us as one of their favorite sites. Our visitors come from all over the world. Nearly half are in the USA but people from Canada, the UK, India, Australia, the Philippines, Romania, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, France and many other countries also use Chiff.com as the source for finding what they are looking for.

In addition to directing visitors to Web sites with the best information, we have a large resource library of articles on many of the subjects we cover. We are adding focused columns in some of the most popular areas.

Your Skills and Experience

We currently need freelancers with a good background and top-notch Web writing skills for two topics:

(1) - Car Buying & Reviews
(1) - Consumer Electronics & Technology Reviews

The writer will be responsible for a column of three 200 - 300 word articles per week. Our freelance writers are featured byliners. Copyright on the material we publish remains with the writer.

We are not asking for volunteers. This is a freelance contract that includes producing planned articles on deadline. There is a minimum $100 monthly payment with increases based on a revenue share agreement.

We are looking for talented writers who know the subject and are enthusiastic about sharing what they know with the world. If you think that you fit the profile, we'd like to hear from you!
