Critics Choice Movie AwardsSure, everybody's a critic.

However, opinions that pull the most weight are from the 200 film critics that make up the Broadcast Film Critics Association, the largest film critics organization in the U.S. and Canada.

New this year? The 23rd annual Critics' Choice Awards aired on its new broadcast home on the CW at 8PM ET on Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Nominees were announced on December 6, 2017 (see the full Critics' Choice Awards nominee & winners list, below.)

Hosting this year's ceremony was actress Olivia Munn. Celebrities presenting on the big night included Chris Hemsworth, Julianne Hough, Nick Jonas, Jim Parsons, Jay Pharoah, Anthony Anderson, and many more.
