Humming along because you don't know the words?

Song lyrics sites are the answer to your problem. They also come in handy when someone jumps on you for singing the wrong words to a popular song!

Just whip out your laptop or connect with your phone and prove that you're the lyrics expert. The poetry in song lyrics is always popular as a note in a card or gift to express your inner feelings with the words you wish you could have thought of yourself. The problem is that so many of the song lyrics sites have cheesy ad focused designs and use the same index with the same old songs. The sites, below, are all way past that. They not only offer a great selection of lyrics that are set up so it's easy to find what you want, but they also have extras to make you glad you're there.

Album clips, forums, reviews and articles are just some of the perks you should expect from the best song lyric sites...

Lyrics.com - There are so many lyrics sites and search engines online that you really want some extras to make the site worth spending time on. Lyrics World - This site has been around for quite a while, since 1998 -- ancient history in Web time...and the depth of resources is excellent. They were using popups for a while, but seem to have moved back to less intrusive banner ads. For a $5.00 donation-subscription they'll remove the ads for life. It is a great place to find lyrics that many other sites don't have as well as forums, reviews, articles and more music facts and trivia.

Links2Love Romantic Lyrics - The site is a bit overboard with ads, but the listings of romantic love song lyrics as well as poems and quotes should make up for the annoying blinkies...

Cult Television Theme Lyrics - Have you ever run into the problem of remembering a show that you watched in your younger days? The theme starts running in your head and there are a few words...but you just can't remember the lyrics to the whole theme song. The Gilbert and Sullivan Archive - Here's a wonderful place to explore if you are a light opera fan. Along with links to all of the lyrics, you'll find simple reviews and other goodies. Listen to midis of your favorites...

Kiss This Guy.com - The Archive of Misheard Lyrics - Don't pretend it's never happened to you...belting out a favorite tune at the top of your lungs when your friends give you a strange look and inform you that the words you're singing have nothing to do with what the artist wrote. The name 'Kiss This Guy' comes from the Hendrix hit, you know, "...scuse me while I kiss this guy." If you don't get it just say it out loud. Sample some of the random misheard lyrics. Some are just silly, but others will have you rolling.
