WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008

Those canned animations are out - and more realistic, interactive features are in - with WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2008.

The WWE Smackdown vs Raw franchise - now in for the long haul as it gains wild popularity in the U.S. and Europe - is expanding to six different platforms this Fall including Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo's Wii and handheld DS.

New Moves, New Features

Among the most anticipated features of the new game include more intricate moves & strategies, much better graphics, and the ultimate chance to become a virtual wrestling superstar.

New rosters, more environmental hotspots, a combined season and General Manager mode are all included, and for Nintendo DS owners .... touch screen control.

Also new is a "Struggle Submission System" that will allow players to adjust the timing and pressure of wrestling holds on each of their opponents.

The most anticipated new feature is yet to come, however, with the inclusion of eight new Superstar fighting styles : hardcore, submission artist, high flier, brawler, powerhouse, showman, dirty and technician - that will each have their own different moves when characters enter the ring.
