MAIN Basketball College Basketball Texas Longhorns

Head coach Rick Barnes and the University of Texas Longhorns play Division I basketball in the Big 12 Conference. Before the Big 12 Conference was created, the Longhorns played in what was called the Southwest Conference.

The Longhorns have been regular season champions 24 times, and entered the Final Four three times.

Their biggest rivals are the Oklahoma Sooners.
