Led by head coach and Notre Dame alumni Brian Kelly, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are battling back after several lackluster seasons. However, 2010 was marked by a strong comeback and some of the biggest wins in recent team history.

This year, Notre Dame has a season to look forward to with linebacker Manti Te’o and the return of wide receiver Michael Floyd following a controversial DUI arrest earlier in the year (Michael, all is forgiven) promising to lead the way to victory for Notre Dame during the 2011 season.

Notre Dame also has decades of glory to fall back on. To date, the Fighting Irish have won more national championships than any other college football team and are tied with Ohio State and USC for Heisman Trophy winner boasting rights.

In addition, NFL superstars who have once called Notre Dame Stadium home (known as "The House that Rockne built" for legendary Fighting Irish coach Knute Rockne) include Paul Hornung, Alan Page, Joe Montana and Nick Buoniconti.
