Currently
led by head coach Bill
Stewart, West Virginia is still riding high on its remarkable
48-28 victory over Oklahoma in the 2008 Fiesta Bowl, when as interim
coach (following the sudden departure of Rich Rodriquez three weeks
before) Stewart took the team to one of the more stunning games
in Virginia Tech history.
Not
that Stewart didn't inherit one of the more remarkable teams in
college football - having already participated in 25 major college
bowls with back-to-back 11-win seasons in 2005 and 2006.
After
a lackluster 2008 (9-4) season, what will the 2009 season bring?
Stay tuned...
