have been presented annually by the International
Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences to the world's best
Web sites since 1996.
Each
year, thousands of Web sites are entered from over 40 countries.
In addition, more than 300,000 votes are cast by people worldwide
who pick their favorite Web sites as part of the The
People's Voice Awards.
The
11th Annual Webby Awards honors the world's most outstanding
Web sites in more than 65 categories ranging from Tourism
and Fashion to Retail and Film. Nominees will be announced
in April and winners announced in May, followed by a star-studded
awards ceremony in June.
