Turn out the lights, grab the popcorn, and check out the full 2018 Halloween TV specials and movie schedule with news updates added as they are announced.

As usual, back this year is Disney's "Monstober" with fan-favorited Halloween movies and popular TV show Halloween episodes.

And if you haven't heard, ABC Family is now the Freeform Network -- but no fear -- "13 Nights of "Halloween" is still here! Freeform’s “13 Nights of Halloween” will begin on mid-October with the usual lineup that traditionally features an all-day "Hocus Pocus" marathon on Halloween night.

Also up ahead is Syfy Channel's "31 Days of Halloween featuring sci-fi classics and original programming all month long. For more Halloween classics, don't miss the 2018 installment of AMC Fearfest with showings of some of the scariest horror movies ever made with more than 60 films running from mid-October to Halloween Night 2018.

For the most popular children's classics, also tune in mid-October for the annual airing of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" on ABC, traditionally followed by another Halloween favorite, "Toy Story of Terror".

Meanwhile, on the big screen, Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Laurie Strode in Halloween 2018, picking up with Laurie 40-years after the original film where she, her daughter and granddaughter have to deal with Michael’s return. Watch for a US nationwide release date on October 19, 2018.

For more chills and thrills, also be on the lookout for Venom, based on the Marvel comics character starring "Mad Max" Tom Hardy, opening nationwide on October 5, 2018.
