2012 Olympics ticket information was officially announced in October 2010, with ticket prices ranging from 20 pounds (US$32) for standard events to a symbolic 2,012 pounds (US $3,220) for box seats at the opening ceremony.
However, watch for average ticket prices to hover around $80-100 with costs to rise depending on the quality and location of seating. Each ticket includes a travel card worth $12 that will be good for bus and train fare for getting to and from the games.
London Summer Olympics tickets went on sale March 15, 2011. with comprehensive ticket information at the London Olympics ticket information page for prices, venues and schedules, along with timing a visit to London in July and August.
