New Hampshire does not collect a state sales tax nor individual income taxes.

The state does tax income from interests and dividends from residents and businesses with nontransferable shares earning more than $2,400 annually ($4,800 for joint filers) from their investments. Residents must file interest and dividend .taxes using DP-10.by April 15 each year.

NOTE: In 2012, the traditional filing deadline of April 15 falls on a Sunday, and Emancipation Day - a holiday observed in the District of Columbia - falls on Monday. Therefore, the deadline this year for filing taxes is April 17, 2012 giving everyone two extra days to file their taxes.
