Thrilling, violent, intriguing, as well as engaging, "24" is a hot show!

It premiered November 6, 2001 on Tuesday nights. Last season the Bauer Hour moved to Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET.

Season five ended with Jack kidnapped by Cheng and sailing on a ship bound for China. How is he going to escape this one? The President of United States was arrested. Who will be sworn in to take his place?

Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, a 2006 Emmy winner for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series, is the only cast member to have appeared in every episode.

People who are die-hard fans love the non-stop action, not to mention the political intrigue. Our hero Jack is an expert working for the Counter Terrorism Unit, CTU. His life, as well as his family's, is on the line as he rescues humanity on a daily basis.

Together with the President of the United States, Jack tackles unknown enemies. Most people take things day-by-day, but in their case it goes hour-by-hour. Who can they trust? Who is on which side? One shocking moment after another make for heart stopping, riveting television.

The cast list goes on: Kim Raver (Audrey Raines), James Morrison (Bill Buchanan), Mary-Lynn Rajskub (Chloe O'Brian), Roger Cross (Curtis Manning), Gregory Itzin (President Charles Logan), Jean Smart (First Lady Martha Logan), Jude Ciccolella (Mike Novick), Glenn Morshower (Agent Aaron Pierce) and John Allen Nelson (Walt Cummings.) Some new faces this season will be Harry Lennix (Commander in Chief, the Matrix) in a recurring role along with Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar), who will play a man with possible terrorist ties. The show has also added Adoni Maropis and Steven Schub as bad guys.

24 has made its mark in television history by being the first show in real time one-hour episodes. The show is filmed in L.A. and has been renewed for a sixth season. Viewers love "24" and can't wait for "24: The Game", the video game version created by Sony for Play Station 2.
