The 70's House
The
70's House on MTV - It was groovy, funkadelic, and ... modern.
From
its premiere in 2005 to its cancellation a year later, viewers
watched all the drama and excitement as real people competed for
groovy prizes, used forgotten 70's slang and get penalized for
such nouveau mishaps as using modern hair care and skin products
and freak dancing on the disco stage.
iPods,
cell phones, and laptops? Forget about it!
How
well do you really know the 70's anyway? How exactly does
one dance the Hustle?
Fans got caught up in the drama as the cast competed in hopeless
contests made specifically to compare and contrast the fun of
the seventies with the wild antics we have come to love in the
new millennium.
Not to mention the humiliation the cast had to go through - every
time they needed to step out of their psychedelic funked-out home,
and into the modern everyday world. Every second counted as the
contestants were judged on how well they can remained a cool 70's
cat.
