Ahhh....young love.

When the world is your oyster and the bond between two lovebirds is invincible.

Do you know anyone like this? Are they ready to face the big bad world? Do they say they can handle anything that comes their way?

When parenthood knocks at their door will they be able to handle it? What about finances and jobs and the upkeep of a home? Maybe there are some teenagers you know that think they can do it better and parents don't know anything?

NBC challenges five teenage couples to try their hands at handling the real world. Start with an infant, then a toddler, pre-teen, young teenager, and finally a senior citizen, not to mention real houses and real responsibilities.

When they start they are eager to be out on their own and confident. Will they finish this experiment with the same mind set? Will they see that it only takes a short time before nerves get frayed and relationships become strained?

Granted, in real life you have all the years in between infancy and adolesance to love your child before contemplating committing hari kari. Maybe they will realize that there is plenty of time for being an adult and slow down a bit.

Watch for news on this social experiment. You'll get the chance to see the fireworks as these teens crash headlong into parenthood. Should be fun to watch... Don't miss it!
