Now into season 8, a whole new Biggest Loser Couples premiered on September 15, 2009 on NBC. The new edition featured last season's heaviest contestant, Daniel Wright, returning to continue his Biggest Loser journey. We also met a firefighter whose job is at risk due to his weight, and a military wife and mom who's just doin' it for herself!

It was a touching two-hour premiere that promised lots of poignant moments throughout the season. Now up to episode 9, a suprising double elimination sent the Orange team of Daniel and Shay packing, leaving six contestants to battle it out until the finale coming up in December.

All About the Biggest Loser
