Most recently in the news for taking the trophy as winner on the hit reality show Dancing with the Stars, Brooke Lisa Burke was born in Hartford, Connecticut on September 8, 1971.

A mix of French, Irish and Portuguese decent, Brooke was raised in Tucson, Arizona and later studied broadcast journalism at UCLA.

However, it was her stunning good looks eventually landed her top assignments with top modeling agencies Ford and Wilhelmina, becoming much sought after for magazine covers, billboards, catalogues and posters. Her TV commercial work also included appearances in ads for Bally's Total Fitness as well as Discover Card in which she played the favorite fantasy date of Yankee Derek Jeter.

One of Burke's first notable TV roles was as the adventurous host of Wild On on the E! Entertainment Network as she traveled the globe introducing viewers to the world's most unusual and exotic locations.

She later moved on to another E! project as host of Rank which rated the hottest stars and show business trends, and recently hosted Rock Star: Supernova on CBS.

The buxom star has most recently made tabloid headlines with an announcement of her impending marriage to former Baywatch hunk David Charvet, with whom she had a child, a baby girl named Heaven Rain Charvet, in January 2007.

Brooke gave birth to a son, Shaya Braven in March, 2008.

It will be first trip down the aisle for Charvet, and the second for Burke who was married to plastic surgeon Garth Fisher, with whom she has two daughters: six-year-old Neriah and four-year-old Sierra.
