MAIN Television Crossing Jordan

Every week on Crossing Jordan Boston's medical examiner Dr. Jordan Cavanaugh (Jill Hennessy) works tirelessly to discover the cause of someone's mysterious demise. It gets a little tricky when she doesn't do things by the book, which is more often than not, and that makes it harder for chief medical examiner Dr. Garret Macy (Miguel Ferrer, “Traffic”) to do his job.

Helping to lighten up the tension are Lily's (Kathryn Hahn) heartfelt compassion, "Bug's" (Ravi Kapoor) love for Lily, and Nigel's (Steve Valentine) witty banter.

Latest update: A riot practically destroyed the greater Boston area caused by an injustice covered up by the police. Lu (Leslie Bibb) listened to Jordan's theory and went in search of a piece of evidence that must have been overlooked.

Woody (Jerry O'Connell) went with her and together they found what they were looking for. Jordan heard chaos in the background when Woody called to let her know they were on their way back so she went to go help them. Unfortunately, Lu didn't make it. She took one for the team and finally said good-bye to Woody.

The independent doc apparently doesn't like to follow the rules and has the impression that the world owes her something. Well at least Nigel does. After he saved her life all she cared about was that she lost her car and it was all his fault. How is she ever going to fit in with these guys and how will they get along without Lu?
