Apolo Anton Ohno & Julianne Hough Are Champions

Dancing With the Stars seems to have gathered another group of stars who ranged from amazingly good to hysterically bad, but the last three couples were spectacular. Judges' scores for the final dance saw perfect scores for all the dancers but only two could move on. Your votes decided and sent Laila home...

With Joey and Apollo left, who took the trophy? Viewers and judges agreed - Apolo and Julianne had the moves and were the perfect couple. Great season!

Tom Bergeron and Samantha Harris hosted again this season. Samantha announced that she is expecting a baby, but she looks anything but maternal in her stunning gowns.

The judges we know and love were back for another season of terrorizing and/or encouraging celebrities and their pro dancing partners. The last two season's champion professional dancer, Cheryl Burke, returned along with Karina Smirnoff, Tony Dovolani, Elena Grinenko, Edyta Sliwinska, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Kym Johnson. Kym Johnson was also a champion on the Australian Dancing with the Stars.

Professional dancers gracing the stage for the first time this season were Brian Fortuna, Jonathan Roberts, Julianne Hough and Alec Mazo.

This season's highlights included former 90210 star Ian Ziering dancing with Cheryl Burke to see if she could bring in a third championship. He had the steps together, but the Latin rhythms seemed to come hard to this Beverly Hills veteran. Still they stayed alive to until the semi-finals - along with Joey Fatone, Apolo Anton Ohno and Laila Ali.

Laila Ali, Mohammad Ali's daughter and a top fighter herself, has the body of a woman who trains hard and she knows how to move it on the dance floor. Did you see her Samba? The lady is smokin' hot. Paired with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, these two had a very good chance to take home the trophy, but were outdanced by Joey and Apolo to go home in third place.

John Ratzenburger the beer loving mailman from Cheers, eliminated in the sixth round, and Billy Ray Cyrus the country western singer eliminated in the seventh round, turned out to be surprisingly light on their feet after the first few dances. Heather Mills - the about to be ex of Beatle Paul - astounded everyone with her talent on the dance floor. With one artificial leg she outdanced many of her two footed competitors before being eliminated.

Joey Fatone and Apolo Anton Ohno were not just the the top two male stars to beat...they were the two finalists. Apolo and Julianne managed the first perfect score from the amazed judges... did that mean anything in the final? Who knows, but whatever moved the viewers and judges, the Olympic skater and his young partner danced their way to the top in this competition. Apolo & Julianne take home the Dancing With The Stars championship in season 4.
