MAIN Pop Culture Reality TV Dancing With The Stars Season 7

The announcement of a new season and new cast of Dancing with the Stars was announced in the early hours of August 25 on Good Morning America!

Now with the season underway - with a 3-night event which began Monday September 22 - stay tuned each week for another elimination.

It's wasn't even half over and spoilers were already buzzing the Web that either Brooke Burke or Warren Sapp were destined to take the trophy.

Who won Dancing with the Stars Season 7?

Our girl Brooke Burke boogies off with triple 10's! — leaving Lance Bass and Warren Sapp looking like they belonged in the kid's rumba competition. Guest appearances on the big night finale included Alicia Keys and Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus fresh from their big appearances this week at the American Music Awards.

• Ted McGinley, Happy Days brought him to the world's attention and then he played Jefferson D'Arcy on the television series Married... with Children
• Kim Kardashian, Reality TV Star and Hollywood socialite.
• Misty May-Treanor, Gold Medal Olympic Beach Volleyball Champion;

Before the season even started, the buzz that reality star Kim Kardashian was about to to get her sequins on, joining openly gay former 'N SYNC singer Lance Bass in this season's cast - were right on the mark, as were rumors about former Oakland Raiders football star Warren Sapp.

However, stories targeting actress Cybill Shepherd, Brady Bunch mom Florence Henderson, former American Idol finalist Kellie Pickler.... and...wait for it... Paula Abdul? ...and former vice president Dan Quail??? - were oh, so wrong!

Returning this season was double threat dancer Julianne Hough whose new country singing career has really taken off this summer.. She was the older woman in the Cody - Julianne team.

Meanwhile, female fans were glad to hear that after a year's hiatus their favorite hot dreamboat dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy also returned this season.

Offstage, Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli made encore appearances as judges. Add to that host Samantha Harris' role as straight man to Tom Bergeron's class clown, and you have all the makings of a phenomenal TV hit.
