The dancing this season is incredible.

The 100th show brought the stars from past seasons and a showcase of the best dances from all seasons. Maksim was on fire in his guest appearance... But back to reality, it was an elimination show...

• Marlee Matlin may not hear the music, but she had rhythm in her blood and style on the dance floor. She lasted much longer than anyone expected showcasing her amazing ability to dance to the music in her heart...
• Kristi Yamaguchi brings her precision and charisma to the dance floor for stellar scores. She's used to 10s on the ice and will soon be getting those scores on the dance floor.
• Jason Taylor... Mario... very different builds and stlyles but WOW - these were two hot dancers.

On the other side we had self proclaimed "Bigfoot" Penn Jillette, who tried hard but just couldn't get his feet to cooperate... He was the first to leave. Adam Corolla is a crazy, fun guy. The problem was not only that he couldn't dance, but in the beginning you got the feeling that he didn't much care... His reaction to Carrie Ann's first critique earned him lots of views on You Tube... Then he actually pulled off a very excellent dance routine that had carrie Ann calling him "sexy" ... Much improved, but not enough to stay on the dance floor. He was voted off... Mario was in the bottom two one surprising week, but made it through... This week he performed an amazingly elegant waltz, but it didn't save him. Semi-finals are coming up... Who knows what next week will bring?

Coming up to the only 3 couples are left...

Did anyone believe that Marissa would make it through to this point? She almost made it to the finals!

Christián will be ok and keep dancing...even with a torn tendon and looking forward to surgery when he's done. The favorites still seem to be the big man, sexy Jason Taylor, and softly gliding Kristi Yamaguchi...

But all three couples have a chance to go all the way... vote for your favorite if you want to see them win the trophy!

After months of off base rumors and educated guesses, the all star cast for season 6 of DWTS was revealed.

The Season 6 stars are ...

• Marlee Matlin, award winning actress;
• Penn Jillette, best known as Penn of the Penn & Teller magic act - first man eliminated. He had such a great time on the show that he promised to continue rehearsing and perform in the parking lot for the rest of the season;
• Marissa Jaret Winokur, played Tracy Turnblad on Broadway in Hairspray;
• Adam Carolla, comedian. If attitude were dancing ability... he'd win hands down.
• Kristi Yamaguchi, Olympic ice skating Champion
• Christián de la Fuente, Latin heart throb born in Santiago, Chile starred in the telenovela Soñar no Cuesta Nada
• Monica Seles, World class tennis player
• Mario, Number 1 selling R&B Singer
• Steve Guttenberg, Brooklyn born actor & comedian best known for his role in the movies Police Academy & Three Men & a Baby
• Jason Taylor, football player
• Shannon Elizabeth, American actress (American Pie), poker player, and former fashion model

Dancing with the Stars, ABC's hit reality TV series, was introduced to the USA after the BBC Television show, Strictly Come Dancing, proved to be a major success with audiences of all ages.

Season 6 is scheduled to premiere on March 17, 2008 with a two night event. The first results show will be airing on March 25, 2008.

The shocker that Maksim Chmerkovskiy won't be dancing with the stars in season 6 is causing some concern, but the network says that it's just a vacation and they expect him back after this season

Since the first season the show has won a People's Choice Award and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. The secret formula for success is to pair a celebrity not known for their dancing skills with a professional dancer. Many of the stars are sexy, but what wins votes is the hot dancing.

The professional dancer choreographs the dance moves for the team and them has to teach the footwork to the celebrity. The rules are a bit more complicated... but not muh to perform specific dances, which the pair perform live on the show each week. The dancers are scored by a panel of three professional ballroom judges. Additionally, viewers of the program may vote by phone, text message, or online methods. The team which receives the lowest total score (a combination of the judges' scores and viewer votes) each week is eliminated from the competition.

Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Emmy Award-winning game show host and television personality, Tom Bergeron, and E! reporter Samantha Harris.

The panel of judges consists of Len Goodman (head judge), Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. Harold Wheeler is the musical director. Dancing with the Stars is broadcast live from CBS Television City in Los Angeles in Studio 46.
