MAIN Pop Culture Reality TV Dancing With The Stars Season 13

There will be a whole new round of winners, losers —and controversial eliminations — when Dancing with the Stars kicks off its 13th season with a 2-hour premier on Monday, September 19, 2011 beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Meanwhile, the official star lineup was announced live, during an episode of "Bachelor Pad," Monday, August 29, on ABC.

Hot and heavy rumors about DWTS Season 13 contestants have been buzzing all summer about who might be in the star lineup this fall.

Most often mentioned? They included singer and actress Queen Latifah; Jersey Shore star, Snooki; actor David Arquette; and Rob Kardashian (brother of reality star and former DWTS contestant, Kim Kardashian.)

Chaz Bono, former daughter and now son of singer Cher, was reportedly joining the cast, as well. The transgender advocate, now legally a man, was to be paired with a female partner this season resulting in what was sure to be a ratings bonanza.

Boxing champ Mike Tyson, singer Christina Milian, and basketball star Ron Artest were also been rumored to be joining one of TV's most popular live competition shows.

There was one more star who would definitely appear on Season 13 - and it was good news for Derek Hough fans! With the return of one of the most popular DWTS pro dancers, Derek was back to wow audiences after taking off last season to star in a dance movie, "Cobu 3D."

As always, Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli were on hand in the judging panel. Add to that host and class clown Tom Bergeron, and the utter sexiness of co-host Brooke Burke, and you have all the makings of a phenomenal and enduring TV hit.
