Hill
Born
Audrey Faith Perry on September 21, 1967, Faith Hill is best known
for award winning hits that have sold in the millions (with 11
No. 1 hits on the country music charts to date) along with a celebrity
marriage to country music hunk and movie star Tim
McGraw.
Singing
at church and community functions since the age of seven, Faith
performed all through her teens when she followed her dream of
becoming a country singer to Nashville at age 19.
There
she took a job as a music publisher's secretary and eventually
became a demo singer for the firm. She also performed backup vocals
for a local band when she was disovered by a Warner Bros.
Records executive who signed her on for the debut album, Take
Me as I Am (1993), an immediate success helped along with her
first monster hit, "Wild One".
Along
the way, she married songwriter and Dan Hill in 1988, who provided
the surname she would for the rest of her career. However, the
marriage soon disolved following her major career breakthrough
and the couple were divorced in 1994.
Following
the release of her second successful album, "It Matters to
Me" Hill embarked on an aptly named "Spontaneous Combustion
Tour" with future husband, Tim McGraw with whom she became
engaged during the tour. The couple were married in 1996 and today
the couple have three daughters - Gracie, Maggie and Audrey.

The couple
have since performed and recorded together frequentlly, most notably
with a bestselling duet following their marriage entitled "It's
Your Love" which later went on to win top honors at both
the ACM
and CMA
Awards.
Faith Hill
would later match her rise in country music with equally award-winning
hits in the pop music field including the wildly popular albums
"Faith" and "Breathe", the latter earning
the crossover star three Grammy
Awards.
A natural
beauty, Faith Hill's first (and to date only) foray into Hollywood
films was in the 2004 remake of "The Stepford Wives"
starring Nicole Kidman.
Two years
later, Hill was back on tour with husband Tim McGraw resulting
in the Soul2Soul II Tour becoming the highest grossing country
music tour in history.Most
recently, an upcoming Christmas album is planned for 2008 release.
