Being an intern is stressful and intense. Mix in the personal issues and relationships and you get Grey's Anatomy, a clever twist on the classic intern study guide Gray's Anatomy.

Today's Grey's Anatomy lets us peek inside the funny, quirky world of modern medicine through the eyes of Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo).

The fictional Seattle Grace Hospital has only the best doctors including popular Dr. McDreamy, Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), Dr. Calliope "Callie" Torres (Sara Ramirez), and the unforgettable McSteamy, Dr. Mark Sloan (Eric Dane).

Along with Meredith Grey, the remaining three residents that people can't seem to get enough of are Cristina Yang (Sandra Oh), Isobel "Izzie" Stevens (Katherine Heigl), and Alex Karev (Justin Chambers). George O'Malley (T.R. Knight) is repeating his internship since he didn't make the grade last season. There are a bunch of new interns to torture one of whom is Meredith's half sister, Lexi (Chyler Leigh).

Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) is now the new chief resident who has earned the nickname "The Nazi" because she is so tough - but shows a softer side after becoming a mom. At the top of the ladder is the chief of surgery Richard Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) dealing with his own marital issues and past loves.
