"Hannah Montana" is all about a very talented and likeable teenager who lives a normal life by day as 14-year-old Miley Stewart.

But watch out! Because at night, the Supergirl with dual identities transforms herself into none other than pop star Hannah Montana.

Just your normal, average teenager? Not really, but Miley would like everybody to think she is ..

Miley conceals her star status from everyone but her close-knit family and her best friends — schoolmates Lilly Truscott (Emily Osment), Oliver Oken (Mitchel Musso) and ex-boyfriend, Jake Ryan (Cody Linley) — who are the only ones who know that she is living a double life as "Teen Pop Sensation," Hannah Montana.

The Disney Channel makes the most of the plot line with its charismatic star, Miley Cyrus, (daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, who also plays her father, and secret show-biz manager in the hit show) as older brother Jackson (Jason Earles), has to deal with the fact his little sister is secretly famous.

Worldwide, the series has grown a tremendous following among tweens, young teens and even parents who have followed the adventures of Hannah Montana since it first aired in early 2006.

Bio - All About Miley Cyrus

The daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Destiny Hope Cyrus was born on November 23, 1992 in Nashville, Tennessee.

Due to her sunny disposition even as an infant her famous father called her "Smiley", only later shortened to "Miley".

She has two older half-brothers, Christopher Cody and Trace, who perform in a rock band in California, an older half-sister, Brandi, a younger brother, Braison, and a younger sister, actress Noah Lindsey Cyrus.

Growing up in a show business family (her godmother is country singer Dolly Parton), Miley began acting in a guest role in her father's TV series Doc at the age of nine.

Minor TV bit parts followed when Miley first made her 2006 appearance as Hannah Montana in the Disney Channel series, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. The character proved so popular that soon after the spin-off series was launched based on the fun-loving teen, Miley Stewart, who leads a secret double life as a pop star.

Since then, the show has spawned a mega-hit soundtrack album including eight of the songs Miley Cyrus performed as Hannah Montana, as well as a a double album, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus, featuring more songs from the Hannah Montana soundtrack as well as original songs co-written by Miley herself.

Coming up, a Hannah Montana movie is rumored to be in the works.
