Could chef Gordon Ramsay be any meaner?

The first season's winner on Hell's Kitchen was ....Michael! (the one with the tattoos). After all, his food was hands down better, or so said the street people, and they know!

Michael was offered an apprenticeship with the master chef himself. I guess we'll see him later in his career; if he comes back to the states when he's done learning how to be a world class chef.

Season 2 came down to a Virginia vs. Heather finale. Both great chefs, it seems that personality was the factor that made the difference.

Chef Ramsay said that he selected Heather because of her determination and the way she controlled her kitchen, but the pep talk Virginia gave to her team - she chose the worst cooks to see what she could do with them - didn't add much to the belief that she could run a restaurant!

In Season 3, we were down to the last two finalists standing - Rock and Bonnie when Rock ultimately snatched victory from the jaws of ... hell.

For Season 4 Christina had the least experience of anyone else, but ultimately Chef Ramsey saw something that made her his choice for his new LA restaurant.
