Always rumored always to be on the verge of marrying long-time squeeze actress Jessica Beil, the SexyBack singer was born January 31, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Timberlake's show business career began early with a TV debut at age 11 on the 80's talent competition show, Star Search, which he ultimately lost.

His first big break came when he was later cast in The New Mickey Mouse Club, where he first met his future girlfriend, Britney Spears, along with future fellow 'N SYNC star, JC Chasez and pop star Christina Aguilera.

With their Mousketeer days coming to a close, Timberlake and JC Chasez joined up to form what was to become 'N SYNC, one of the biggest boy bands of the decade.

Along the way, Timberlake began producing and co-writing various tracks, ultimately leading to a solo album, Justified that resulted in a string of top ten hits including Like I Love You, Rock My Body and Cry Me A River, rumored to be about his breakup with Britney Spears.

In 2004, he was suddenly swept up in tabloid headlines when he appeared alongside Janet Jackson during her now-infamous "wardrobe malfunction" during the Super Bowl halftime game televised around the world. In 2006, Timberlake shook off the scandal by topping the charts at No. 1 with his mega-hit album, FutureSex/LoveSounds, and later took on hosting duties for the MTV Europe Music Awards in November.

Offstage, Timberlake was romantically linked with actress Cameron Diaz up until a breakup in early 2007. However, their association continued on film, at least, when he appeared in the cast list in Shrek the Third in which Diaz reprised her role as Princess Fiona, with Timberlake as the voice of Artie (a young King Arthur).

That same year, he received four nominations at the 49th annual Grammy Awards, and was back on the big screen with a starring role in the feature film, Alpha Dog. Millions of pre-teens were also delighted to see the pop star getting slimed on a national television appearance as host of the Kid's Choice Awards in March 2007.

In 2008, Timberlake was also tapped to host the highly popular ESPY Awards, with accolades given for the best in sports performances from the past year.

Nearly a year after breaking up with Cameron Diaz, Timberlake began dating actress Jessica Beil and throughout the relationship rumors have spread of their impending marriage. The Justin-Jessica Wedding Watch most recently include rumors that the couple plan a summer 2009 wedding somewhere in Italy.
