People, Big World
If
you're different, the world is not an easy place to live. People
can be cruel for no reason.
For
people with dwarfism, life can be especially challenging.
On "Little
People, Big World" Amy and Matt Roloff give us an inside
look at raising four children. Both Amy and Matt live a rewarding
life with Jeremy "Jer," Zachary "Zach," Molly
Jo "Mol," and Jacob "Jake" on Roloff Farms,
a 34 acre farm in a suburb of Portland, Oregon.
Amy and Zach
have the same form of dwarfism, achondroplasia.
Matt has diastrophic
dysplasia. Jeremy and Zach are twins but Jeremy is 6 feet
tall and Mol and Jake are average height.
What is it
like having a brother and parents with dwarfism? Or having two
sons and a daughter of average height? Is it any different at
all? Zach is a soccer player, Amy coaches a soccer team. What
about the challenges of shopping, household chores, attending
school and everything that goes along with it?
Every Monday
night at 8 pm ET on TLC this family shares life with America.
