MAIN Pop Culture Miss Universe 2018

The most beautiful women in the world will take center stage at this year's 67th Miss Universe beauty pageant when more than 90 contestants from around the world will complete for the crown of Miss Universe 2018.

Watch for this year's Miss Universe Pageant to be televised at its traditional network home on FOX - on a date yet to be determined - when Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, the reigning Miss Universe, crowns her successor.

Miss Universe 2017 rewind

Returning to host this year's festivities was comedian and TV personality Steve Harvey, joined by co-host, model Ashley Graham, with live performances by Fergie and Rachel Platten.

The winner? It was Miss South Africa, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, who took the crown at the end of the night's festivities. First runner-up was Miss Colombia Laura Gonzalez and second runner-up was Miss Jamaica Davina Bennett.

Featuring more than 80 delegates from around the world, Miss Universe remains one of the world's most watched and most popular beauty pageants.

What began in 1952 - as a local bathing beauty competition in Long Beach, CA - has since grown to be showcase that puts the spotlight directly on the world's most beautiful women.

Following the evening gown competition, judges pick the Top 10 who go on to show off their best assets in the traditional and very popular swimsuit competition, from which the Top 5 are chosen... culminating in the crowning of Miss Universe.
