Based the book series by author C.S. Lewis, the Disney blockbuster about to open soon worldwide tells the story of the Pevensie siblings - Lucy, Edmund, Susan and Peter - who one day tumble through the back of a wardrobe in war-time Britain and into a battle all of their own.

To save the mystical land of Narnia, they must face an evil white witch Jadis who keeps Narnia in perpetual winter. With the help of a talking Lion called Aslan, however, they find the strength and wisdom to overcome almost insurmountable obstacles.

The tales that make up the series (written between 1950 and 1956) have held two generations of readers captivated with a mix of Greek myths, Norse mythology, English folklore and Christian symbolism — and good vs. evil — and have appealed first and foremost to the imagination, whatever the reader's religious beliefs might be.
