Most recently making headlines for his romantic relationship with Meghan Markle, Prince Harry has made social media go into overdrive with the official announcement of the couple's engagement published on November 27, 2017:
"His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle.The wedding will take place in Spring 2018. Further details about the wedding day will be announced in due course."
The actress who stars as a paralegal in the TV series "Suits", began her relationship with Prince Harry in June 2016 and since then the pair have become inseparable.
Although the playboy prince has made headlines in the past with a string of romantic flings, those close to the couple reportedly admit: "She's the one."

Actress Rachel Meghan Markle was born August 4, 1981 in Los Angeles to a white father and African-American mother.
Since 2011, Markle has portrayed Rachel Zane on the legal drama series "Suits" and is also known for her roles as special agent Amy Jessup in the sci-fi thriller "Fringe."

Since the official 2016 announcement of her relationship with Prince Harry, unkind comments on her mixed-race heritage has called a tumult among the royal couple's fans, even prompting a statement from Royal Family deriding the "wave of abuse and harassment" toward Markle.
