October Road
Nick
Garrett (Bryan
Greenberg) went backpacking in Europe, telling everyone he'd
be back in a few weeks.
He
did come back...ten years and a new life later.
Now a famous
author and screenwriter living in NYC, Nick wasn't sure of the
homecoming he'd receive after writing a tell-all book about the
friends and family he left behind. He
doesn't plann on staying, but he does and takes his lumps
as he tries to get the love of his life, Hannah (Laura
Pepron), and his best friend, Eddie (Goeff
Stults), to love him again.
It seems life
went on without Nick. Hannah moved on with Ray "Big Cat"
(Warren
Christie) and has a little boy, Sam (Slade
Pearce). Nick did the math and started to wonder if Sam is
his son. His dad, Bob "The Commander" (Tom
Beringer) noticed the family resemblence and said as much
to Nick.
Don't forget
"Ikey", Physical Phil, Owen, Janet, Pizza Girl...The
drama never ends in The Ridge but one thing is for sure. There
are some things that never change, like the bond between friends.
Through thick and thin, you know who's got your back.
For two seasons
October Road was on Monday nights at 10 pm on ABC. The second
and final season ended with Nick facing a difficult choice between
his career and his family. He chose his family.
