Veteran soap writer James E. Reilly stopped writing for Days of Our Lives to create Passions.

Days' audience wasn't too crazy about the storylines Reilly introduced, but since Passions was brand new, there were no long-time fans to placate. It was a clean slate, and Reilly ran with it. In 1999 Passions made its way into the hearts and homes of people everywhere.

In a town called Harmony there really is little of it. The families of Harmony are the Cranes, the Lopez-Fitzgeralds, the Russells, and the Wallaces. Tabatha the witch, Timmy the doll and Charity the girl with Barbie-like beauty and mystical powers, take care of the supernatural side of the show.

Will Tabatha be able to manipulate the people in Harmony? Do you think Luis should be with long-suffering heiress Sheridan Crane or with Fancy? Will Teresa actually marry Jared or will Ethan finally choose her over Gwen? Chad and Whitney are not related after all!
