MAIN Television Smallville

Created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, Smallville is based on the teenage years of Clark Kent, aka Superman.

Young Clark is able to leap tall buildings at a single bound, is faster than a speeding bullet and more powerful than a locomotive....and dealing with all of the hormones of an average teenage male.

Clark Kent is played by Tom Welling.

In keeping with the Superman story line, Clark's real name is Kal-El and his biological parents are Lara and Jor-El. who come from the planet Krypton.

Smallville changes forever when Clark arrives via spaceship in a meteor storm. The sci-fi plot line aside, Clark must deal with many different people in his life, somehow keep his powers a secret, and balance the two girls in his life, Chloe (Allison Mack) and Lana (Kristin Kreuk).

Meanwhile, Lex Luther (Michael Rosenbaum) and his father Lionel Luther (John Glover) are Smallville's power brokers, and Lex is now running full steam ahead to be elected Senator. Up till now, Lex and Clark have been able to see eye to eye at least part of the time. This season, that changes as they finally become hated enemies.
