"Going down to South Park,
gunna have myself a time..."

Creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone collided at the University of Colorado during their student days merely to produce a few yuks - and have since made cartoon history.

South Park has helped ratings skyrocket for Comedy Central season after season with its edgy political and social humor.

Fart jokes aside, South Park takes whatever is socially taboo and tears it apart for viewing consumption, nothing - and we repeat - nothing is sacred, with religion and politics being a favorite for South Park fodder.

South Park will win no awards for breakthrough graphics, since their animation looks like it has been torn from construction paper, but that doesn't mean the crude medium can't produce funny, jaw dropping comedy.

This is no ordinary cartoon, with a rating of MA17 for "mature" audiences only. They push the envelope every episode and they don't disappoint.

The cast of characters has built up over the years, only last year having lost Chef (Issac Hayes) to a controversial Scientology episode which featured a Tom Cruise send-up in typical South Park fashion.

The usual cast is made up of four children who live in South Park. Stan, Kyle, Cartman and poor Kenny (who dies in 99.99% of all episodes - those bastards! ) are the Brat Pack of the Colorado suburb of South Park ...
