Earl Cole wins SURVIVOR: FIJI

CBS kicked off the 14th installment of it's successful franchise Survivor Fiji Islands on February 8th 2007 8:00 pm.

This season they were fighting for the title of sole survivor and the coveted one million dollar prize in the Fiji Islands.

Interestingly, during the taping of this seasons show the Fiji Islands underwent a military coup. Reportedly this did not effect the cast or crew.

Nineteen diverse contestants started this season of Survivor: Fiji. Rumors are that there were twenty, but one left before they arrived at the camp...

They began their adventure as one tribe with one main goal. To work together to build a luxury Survivor camp. All the supplies they needed including blue prints and tools were left for them on their island.

The castaways couldn't continue the game unless they accomplished this common goal. After the camp was built they divided themselves in two group and fought for the rights to remain in the superior campsite. The losing team went to the other campsite where they were provided with a machete, a pot and water that must be boiled, of course they must provide their own fire. Not happy campers compared to the luxury group.

There was an exile island again for the third season and two immunity idols hidden somewhere in the two camps with clues to the locations hidden on exile island.
