It is always nice to come home to a well cooked meal. Most people wouldn't expect to find a world-traveled and well-known chef, Curtis Stone, in the kitchen ready to serve the meal to them.

Fridays at 12 am on TLC, the Melbourne native has his own special kind of cooking show.

He isn't behind a counter in a studio somewhere flashing recipes and ingredients across the television screen. Instead, he cooks in someone's kitchen alongside the person who lives there!

"Take Home Chef" is a cooking show with a story. The game plan is simple. Curtis approaches people shopping in the supermarket and asks if it would be alright to go home to help prepare a meal together as a surprise for whoever is expected later. If the person agrees, the shopping continues with Curtis in tow and not only does he make sure all the makings of an amazing meal are chosen but he pays for them too!

Once the meal is finished, Curtis serves it!

Can you ask for anything more than a meal paid for, prepared and then served to you by a master chef in your own home? Other than for him to move in, of course.
