MAIN Pop Culture Reality TV Tommy Lee Goes to College

Tommy Lee, drummer for Motley Crew, ex-husband of Pam Anderson, father of two children, ex-inmate, author of two books,Tommyland and The Dirt : Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band, co-cast member (no pun intended) of the most famous home movie ever made (eh-em... you know...the one with Pam...on the boat), and solo artist of Tommyland :The Ride and Never a Dull Moment, can now add co-ed to his resume.

This lightly scripted reality show is sure to be a hit. The shows producers unleashed Tommy Lee into the academic world where his reputation and social skills could only take him so far.

Throw in Tommy Lee's ambition to do well, and a little editing and — voila, primetime reality television a its finest.

Tommy takes on chemistry and the Nebraska Cornhuskers marching band with all the seriousness he can muster. I think that's what's going to make the show so funny. Tommy Lee actually tries to take this all so seriously. He knows he is being made fun of and tries that much harder to do well.

Tommy Lee will get a fake roommate and a hot tutor, but he struggles the most with reading sheet music, and of course, tests.

His college career will last approximately six weeks. Don't we all wish that were the case, well not FASFA, but the rest of us sure do.

Well, the season of fraternal pranks and hot tutors has drawn to an end just as real college students everywhere begin their perilous journeys to and from classes and keggers. We will miss Tommy Lee and his innocent ADHD.
