This year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show holiday special will air on CBS on Tuesday December 4, 2007 at 10 P.M. ET/PT with scheduled performances by the Spice Girls, wil.i.am and Seal.

The annual show will feature appearances by supermodels Alessandro Ambrosio, Gisele Bundchen, Karolina Kurkova and many others, as Victoria's Secret holiday special celebrates its 12th year on CBS television.

Victoria's Secret was founded in 1972, but the company didn't really hit its stride until the 1990's when it began to use hot supermodels to show off its sexy line of lingerie.

Often under attack by the U.S. religious right, Victoria's Secret (based in in Columbus, Ohio) is a pop culture phenomenon that has given American women permission to strut, look sexy, and still retain their wholesome "naughty but nice girl" image.

Today, the most prominent of Victoria's Secret models have been Alessandra Ambrosio, Heidi Klum, Tricia Helfer, Laetitia Casta, Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova, Petra Nemcova and Frederique van der Wal.

Victoria's Secret has a flag-ship store in New York City's Herald Square and 1,000 outlets nationwide, but gets most of its promotion done via their thriving mail order catalog, Victoria's Secret Direct.
