Chopped Chicken Liver

 

Number of Servings: 4
Prep Time: 45 mins. Skill Level: Easy

Ingredients

3 tablespoons rendered (melted) chicken fat
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 pound chicken livers
3 hard-boiled eggs
salt & pepper

Instructions:

1. Melt the chicken fat in a large frying pan.

2. Add the onions and garlic and saute until tender.

3. Add the chicken livers and saute until completely browned.

4. Let cool, add eggs and chop livers and eggs together until desired consistency is reached (coarse, fine).

5. Salt & pepper to taste. Serve chilled on crackers or bagel.
