1. In a large pot bring water to boil and cook fettucine until tender. 2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet melt the butter, then add cream, salt and pepper. 3. Bring to boil and immediately lower heat and let simmer for a few minutes. 4. Remove from heat and add fettuccini and parmesan cheese, tossing to coat well. Serve with crusty Italian bread.
