Mom's Perfect Rice


Number of Servings: 4
Prep Time: 20 mins Skill Level: Easy


1 cup long grained rice
2 cups water
1 small onion, chopped
2 cubes chicken buillion


1. In medium sized pot, add rice and water.
2. Add onion and buillion.
3. Bring to boil.
4. Set flame to lowest setting, cover pot.
5. Cook for 15 minutes.

Helpful Hints:

Be sure to measure out exact amounts of water and rice. Resist the urge to uncover pot while it is cooking (or to stir it up to help it cook!) Once the water boils, cover the pot and keep rice on a very low flame for no less - and no more - than 15 minutes. Result: perfect, non-sticky rice!
