1. Preheat oven to 425F.
2. Place crisp bacon, swiss cheese and onion into pastry shell.
3. In a medium bowl, beat together eggs, cream, salt and pepper.
4. Pour egg mixture into pastry shell.
5. Bake for 15 minutes, then reduce temperature to 325F and bake an additional 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted near the edge comes out clean.
Allow to cool slightly before serving. Serve with rolls or bisquits, or for brunch with a fresh tossed salad.
