Tequila Sunrise

Number of Servings: 1
Prep Time: 2 min Skill Level: Easy

Ingredients

1 shot glass tequila (about 1 oz.)
1/2 shot glass Grenadine (about 1/2 oz.)
Orange juice
Orange Slices
Ice
1 tall glass

Instructions:

1. Start by pouring the Grenadine into the bottom of the glass.
2. Add the Tequila.
3. Fill with ice.
4. Gently pour orange juice until the glass is full.
5. Cut orange slice in half and insert the rim of the glass into the slice as a garnish.
6. Serve

Helpful Hints:

Pouring the OJ slowly lets the Grenadine-Tequila mix creep through the drink making the sunrise effect. If you pour to roughly or stir this drink, you'll just get a muddy looking mix. It still tastes fine, but doesn't look as pretty.
