1. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, water, corn syrup, butter and vanilla.
2. Stir in salt, almond extract and cream of tartar.
3. Mix in coconut until well blended.
5. Shape into small eggs and place on sheets of waxed paper.
6. In a heavy bottomed pan, melt the chocolate over very low heat until melted.
7. Allow chocolate to cool a bit before frosting eggs.
