1. Place tomato slice, cheese slice and a basil leaf alternately on platter or on four individual plates until all of the tomatoes and cheese are distributed. 2. Place oil and vinegar and garlic powder in salad dressing cruet or mixing bowl. 3. Shake oil and vinegar with garlic until thoroughly mixed or mix with wire whisk in bowl until well blended. 4. Drizzle over tomatoes. 5. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. 6. Serve with warm or toasted Italian bread slices.
