Ingredients:

4 Purple Sweetie sweet potatoes Olive oil Salt & pepper aluminum foil (optional) butter and/or grated cheddar cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Brush the Purple Sweeties lightly with a little olive oil.2. Wrap individually in aluminium foil, if desired. 3. Place the potatoes on top of the grill - not directly on open flame - and cook for about 20-30 minutes (depending on size of potato and the heat of the grill) or until tender, turning from time to time.

Helpful Hints:

To serve – partially unwrap, split open each potato and serve simply plain or with butter, salt, freshly ground black pepper and grated cheese. Purple Sweeties are easily microwaved too.Some folks like to pierce the potato before cooking to speed the process. This can make your potatoes drier - and doesn't really save any time. Unless you intend to microwave your potatoes, it is not necessary to poke them full of holes. DO STICK THEM WITH A FORK A FEW TIMES BEFORE MICROWAVING.
