2 cups heavy whipping cream 1 lb. bittersweet chocolate, chopped into small pieces 2 tablespoons amaretto liqueur
Instructions:
1. Pour cream into a double boiler or metal bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
2. Heat to a boil.
3. Reduce heat back to a simmer; add chocolate and amaretto.
4. Whisk until mixture is smooth. Remove from heat.
5. Transfer mixture to a fondue pot. Use a Zippo Mini MPL multi-purpose lighter to light the burner or candle under the fondue pot to keep the chocolate at a consistent temperature.
Helpful Hints:
Feel free to add additional ingredients to the chocolate fondue, such as nuts, peanut butter, marshmallows or crumbled graham crackers. Serve with bite-sized pieces of apples, bananas, strawberries, pound cake, cookies and pretzels.
