King's Hawaiian Bananas Foster French Toast

Prep Time: 20 min Skill Level: Easy

Ingredients:

4 (3/4 inch) slices of King's Hawaiian Sweet Bread

3 large eggs

3/4 cups milk

1/4 cup or 1/2 stick butter

1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar

4 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into 1/4 inch diagonal slices



Instructions:


1. Whisk together eggs and milk in a shallow bowl. Dip bread slices in egg mixture.

2. Spray skillet with cooking spray and heat for one minute over medium-high heat. Cook the bread until golden brown, turning once. Remove from skillet and keep warm.

3. Melt butter in the same skillet. Add sugar and mix well. Add bananas and cook, stirring constantly, until bananas are glazed and hot. Serve banana mixture over toast.
